To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Chimpui manga, Nippon Columbia released the MV for 'Cinderella nanka ni naritakunai,' the theme song of the anime short 'Chimpui: Eri-sama's Good Luck.' Directed by Nobutaka Yoda (10GAUGE), the original MV uses anime footage, while the remix MV features a unique worldview created by Sooshi-it (Dos Monos). The original soundtrack containing full versions of both tracks is available digitally, and promotional illustrations were drawn by character designer Naoyuki Asano. The short film is currently screening at the Kawasaki City Fujiko F. Fujio Museum's F Theater until June 21, 2026.
