Toho Village, NTT West Kyushu Branch, and Regional Revitalization Co-Design Institute Establish "Toho Village Tourism Dashboard" to Visualize Regional Data

Toho Village, Fukuoka Prefecture (Mayor: Hideki Sanada, hereinafter Toho Village), NTT West Corporation Kyushu Branch (Branch Manager: Kiyohide Migita, hereinafter NTT West), and Regional Revitalization Co-Design Institute Co., Ltd. (Representative Director and President: Hidenori Kigami / NTT West Group, hereinafter Regional Revitalization Co-Design Institute) have established the "Toho Village Tourism Dashboard" (hereinafter, this system) to integrate and visualize various regional data held by Toho Village, with the aim of promoting "earning regional development" and EBPM (Evidence-Based Policy Making). This project is an initiative to "rediscover challenges and future visions" of Toho Village from data, based on the framework of the "ICT Collaboration Agreement on Town Development and Resident Services" *1 concluded between Toho Village and NTT West in January 2023. About this system This system aims to create an environment where regional data, which has been managed in a dispersed manner until now, such as local currency usage, human movement, and access logs of the Toho Village tourism website, can be utilized and analyzed across the board. Its purpose is to grasp the actual situation of the region, extract issues based on data, formulate measures, and contribute to the revitalization of the regional economy. Future initiatives Going forward, in cooperation with the "Toho Muratabi Tourism Bureau," a general incorporated association established last December, we will hold study sessions for businesses within the village utilizing the constructed dashboard, and work to support businesses based on the dashboard's data.
