Deputy Defense Minister attends security forum in Czech Republic, shares Taiwan's defense resilience

According to the Military News Agency, Deputy Minister of National Defense Hsu Szu-chien led a delegation to the Czech Republic from the 21st to the 23rd to attend the global security forum "GLOBSEC Forum 2026." As a panelist and speaker, Hsu shared Taiwan's perspectives and practical experience in overall defense resilience, digital integration, and application regarding issues such as gray-zone threats, protection of critical infrastructure, and the use of artificial intelligence and unmanned systems. During the forum, Hsu attended the opening ceremony addressed by Czech President Petr Pavel and was invited to the presidential dinner and awards ceremony, where he interacted with political figures and experts in international security to strengthen communication and cooperation between Taiwan and like-minded countries. Hsu participated in sessions such as "When Infrastructure Becomes a Battlefield: The Age of Infrastructure Warfare" and "Defense Digitalization and Interoperability: From Frameworks to the Frontline," where his sharing of Taiwan's experience garnered significant attention. During the conference, the delegation engaged in multiple discussions with representatives from governments, think tanks, defense industries, and tech companies worldwide, exchanging views on the latest defense technology developments, combat experience, and global geopolitical trends. These exchanges serve as important references for Taiwan's defense construction, technological development, and strategic planning, continuously enhancing overall defense capabilities and international connectivity.
