E-DEX Expects Record-High Operations This Year, New Plant to Begin Production in H1 Next Year

(CNA, Hsinchu, May 21) E-DEX, a supplier of components and materials for semiconductor process equipment, stated today that with stable market demand this year, its overall operations are expected to reach a new high. To meet customer needs, a new factory is scheduled for completion this year and will begin production in the first half of next year. At an earnings conference today, Chairman Chueh Sheng-che said that in the past six months, E-DEX has not only started shipping sealing materials for CoWoS advanced packaging but has also increased shipments of 2-nanometer products and entered the AI server field, with samples already sent to customers. Chueh stated that as major clients invest overseas, E-DEX has also made good progress in foreign markets, having begun shipments to the US and Japan and created new business opportunities. E-DEX noted that with stable market demand this year, its overall operations are expected to set a new record. To meet customer needs, the company is currently working overtime, and the new plant is expected to be completed this year and start production in the first half of next year to boost capacity.
