Having previously played a visually impaired character in a movie, she was deeply moved and shared an experience where she met a visually impaired friend before filming. This friend encouraged her to tear off the labels others put on her, which moved her, someone who cares deeply about others' opinions, to tears. Mico Peng attended the Foundation for the Blind's "EYE's Anywhere Door" event today as an ambassador. On site, Peng even blindfolded herself to listen to audio cues for a food-clipping challenge. She mentioned that she had played a visually impaired character in the movie "Breakthrough: The 3000-Meter Swim." At that time, she met a visually impaired friend who encouraged her, saying, "You need to tear off the labels others put on you, you are great." This moved Mico Peng to tears. "I care a lot about what others say about me. Many times, I'm not that true to myself, but he told me not to live such a tiring life. He said I can bravely take this step, do what I want to do, and not care about other people." Speaking of her recent life, Mico Peng is currently dating fellow actor Sean Sun.
