(Taipei, 20th, CNA, by reporter Wu Chia-hao) Motion simulation equipment manufacturer Brogent announced today the opening of its new factory in the Ciaotou Science Park, which will increase production capacity by four to five times. It will serve as a research and development, manufacturing, and testing base for high-end motion simulation equipment, providing a complete solution for global theme parks and entertainment tourism operators, from creative ideation and content production to equipment operation. Brogent Chairman O-Yang, Chih-Hung stated that what Brogent has built is not a traditional manufacturing plant. The Ciaotou factory incorporates automated production processes and proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) dynamic simulation technology to accelerate product testing and manufacturing efficiency. It also brings a more diverse and internationally-focused industrial profile to the Ciaotou Science Park. The total floor area for Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Brogent Ciaotou factory is expected to exceed 10,000 ping (approx. 33,057 square meters), with a total investment of about NT$2 billion. To meet orders from major international clients, the NT$880 million investment for the Phase 1 factory building has been completed. With its inauguration, it will enter mass production, which is expected to increase the average selling price per customer by 15% to 20% and boost production volume by four to five times. Once full capacity is reached, the Phase 2 investment will be initiated. (Editor: Lin Shu-yuan) 1150520
