Man Found Dead on Tin Rooftop in Yilan; Police Seal Off Scene for Investigation

According to a police investigation, his family had reported to Hsinchu police on the 15th that Mr. Wu was going to Yilan to look for a job. Police have sealed off the scene to collect evidence and clarify the cause of his death. The Yilan Police Precinct received a report from the public around 12:00 PM today, stating that a man was lying on a tin rooftop behind the Guangfu Road area in Yilan City. Police and fire department personnel rushed to the scene upon receiving the report and found the man was clearly dead. Officers immediately sealed off the scene for investigation, and forensics personnel collected evidence and worked on identification. As the deceased carried no identification or other items, police matched his tattoos and other features against missing persons records. After family members assisted with identification, the deceased was confirmed to be 29-year-old Mr. Wu.
