Factory fire in Lukang, Changhua leaves 2 injured, firefighters extinguish blaze

The fire department received the report and rushed to extinguish the fire. The fire did not spread, 2 people were injured and were sent for medical treatment, and the cause of the fire is yet to be clarified.

Changhua County Fire Bureau received a report at 3:12 PM that smoke was coming from a sheet metal factory on Section 3, Linhai Road, Lukang Township. It was initially learned that there was no one in the building, and various fire vehicles and personnel were immediately dispatched for rescue. After firefighters arrived at the scene, they immediately deployed water lines to extinguish the fire. The fire point was at the back of the warehouse. No one was trapped, and there was no danger of the fire spreading.

Fire department stated that 2 people were injured at the scene. One of them sought medical treatment on their own, and another person with facial burns was sent to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. The detailed cause of the fire is still awaiting further investigation.
