A former supervisor at the Kaohsiung City Personnel Department has been ordered by a court to pay NT$86,800 in compensation for long-term verbal abuse and intimidation of subordinates. The city government stated that it has a zero-tolerance policy for workplace bullying. The individual had already been investigated, penalized with a demerit, demoted to a non-managerial position, and given a "B" grade in their annual performance review prior to the court ruling.
