(Central News Agency, Taipei, May 14) Quanta Computer, on behalf of its Thai subsidiary QMB Co., Ltd., has awarded a plant electrical and mechanical engineering contract worth NT$628 million to support production expansion. The contractual counterparty is China State Construction Engineering (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

As of the fourth quarter of last year, Quanta's outstanding investment in its Thai subsidiary, QMB Co., Ltd., reached NT$7.48 billion.
