Two Fall into Water at Taipei's Dadaocheng Wharf, Police and Firefighters Rescue 90-Year-Old Man, Rushing Him to Hospital

(Central News Agency Reporter Huang Li-Jen Taipei 12th) In the early hours of today, a 90-year-old man fell into the water at Taipei's Dadaocheng Wharf. A man in his 20s nearby immediately jumped in to rescue him, but unfortunately, both drowned and went missing. Police and firefighters were alerted and dispatched personnel for search and rescue. No trace was found on the water surface. After continuous searching upstream and downstream of the wharf, the drowned elderly man was found at 9:15 AM, but he had no breathing or heartbeat.
