The Taipei DPO assigned the case to its women and children special prosecutor unit, citing offenses such as sexual privacy infringement. On the evening of the same day, they immediately directed the Daan Police Precinct to search St. Eger Clinic's Taipei Zhongxiao branch and secure evidence. St. Eger Medical Beauty Group issued a statement on May 9th, indicating that to prevent potential future medical disputes and protect the rights of both the clinic and consumers, and in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act and relevant regulations of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, they obtain explicit written consent from every consumer before treatment to conduct audio and video recordings during the procedure. The retention period is one month after the treatment concludes.
The statement also mentioned that recently, due to the secret filming case involving the Airlee Group, some consumers have become anxious and requested St. Eger Medical Beauty Group to delete audio and video recordings made during their treatments.
