(Central News Agency reporter He Xiuling, Taipei, 11th) Taiwan's leading food company, President Enterprises, announced that its April revenue was NT$57.48 billion, a year-on-year increase of 2.26%, reaching a new high for the same period. President Enterprises informed Central News Agency reporters that this was due to growth in its core food business, and its investments in Uni-President China and President Chain Store.
President Enterprises' revenue for the first four months of this year was NT$232.497 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3.11%, also setting a new high for the same period.
President Chain Store today announced its April revenue as NT$29.91 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.88%, setting a historical new high for the same period. President Chain Store stated in a press release that Taiwan's 7-ELEVEN continues to expand its stores, with nearly 8,400 locations including stores and smart vending machines across Taiwan, and continues to optimize the operation of 67 shopping malls throughout Taiwan.
In addition, President Chain Store stated that its invested "golden geese" such as 7-ELEVEN Philippines, President Engineering, Cosmed, and Starbucks all performed outstandingly, effectively contributing to the overall revenue growth.
President Chain Store also pointed out that in April, in response to festive topics such as April Fool's Day, Children's Day, the Qingming holiday, and Mazu pilgrimage, it focused on members, fresh food, coffee, tea, and pre-orders, developing innovative trending products and planning themed activities to attract customers and spending, thereby boosting overall operations.
Looking ahead to May, President Chain Store stated that Taiwan's 7-ELEVEN will continue to respond to festive topics, tax season, and gradually rising temperatures by launching diverse themed activities and trending new products, combined with member interaction mechanisms and promotional offers, to drive customer traffic and consumption momentum, with expectations of further boosting overall operational performance.
