Compal will provide next-generation graphics processing unit (GPU) server systems to assist Verda in accelerating the construction of next-generation AI infrastructure in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

Compal stated in a press release that in this collaboration, Compal will supply high-density, liquid-cooled AI server platforms, specifically designed for the critical workloads of the next wave of AI development, covering agent-based applications that can handle large amounts of context and support high concurrency operations, and meeting the high standards required for Verda's sustainable cloud deployment in terms of thermal efficiency and energy performance.

Verda operates high-density GPU data centers in multiple locations in Europe, providing real-time computing resources required for large-scale training and inference, serving cutting-edge AI laboratories, research teams, and startups.

In addition, Japan's software service provider Datasection Co., Ltd. today announced that it will strengthen its strategic cooperation with Compal and decided to purchase a total of 635 GPU servers equipped with NVIDIA's latest architecture, NVIDIA B300, with a total investment of approximately US$325 million (about NT$10.18 billion).

Datasection President and CEO Norihiko Ishihara stated that this investment will serve as the core infrastructure for Datasection's next-generation AI data center project, and is expected to provide industry-leading large-scale computing capabilities to meet the demands of the world's largest cloud service providers.
