According to the Central Meteorological Administration's website, as of around 3 PM today, the highest temperature recorded was 36 degrees Celsius in Nanxi District, Tainan City, and 35.5 degrees Celsius in Neimen District, Kaohsiung City. Local high temperatures were also observed in other counties and cities south of Taichung and in the Hualien-Taitung area, with Zhutian Township, Pingtung County, reaching a higher 35 degrees Celsius.
