Aierli Clinic Suspected of Hidden Camera, Jeannie Hsieh Demands Ban on Portrait for Promotion

(Central News Agency reporter Hung Su-chen, Taipei, May 6th) Aierli Clinic's Banqiao branch in New Taipei City was recently suspected of having a pinhole camera hidden inside a smoke detector. Jeannie Hsieh, who has been an endorser for the clinic for many years, issued a statement through her agency, demanding that the Aierli Group completely stop using her portrait and name for any promotional activities.

The Aierli Medical Aesthetics Clinic's Banqiao branch was found to have a suspected pinhole camera hidden inside a smoke detector. The police and prosecutors are currently expanding their investigation, and today, New Taipei police and prosecutors searched four branches and brought in eight people, including President Chang Ju-shan.

Artist Jeannie Hsieh, who has been an endorser for the clinic for many years, earlier issued a statement through her agency, stating that she demands the Aierli Group to completely stop using the portrait and name of our artist Jeannie Hsieh for any promotional activities. The agency believes this is a basic respect for all consumers.

Jeannie Hsieh herself also spoke out on social media, stating that she, like everyone else, cannot accept any acts that infringe upon bodily autonomy and privacy. "Medical and aesthetic venues should make people feel safe and respected, not bring fear. Everyone's body and privacy should not be monitored or recorded." She called for relevant responsible parties to bear their due responsibilities, wishing for the harm to stop here.

Jimmy Lin also previously served as an endorser for the clinic. He also responded through his agency, J-Star Entertainment, stating, "The cooperation with Aierli Group ended this year.
