South Korea's New Generation Medium Satellite Successfully Launched Aboard SpaceX Falcon 9

According to Yonhap News, the US aerospace exploration technology company (SpaceX) "Falcon 9" rocket, carrying South Korea's next-generation medium satellite No. 2, was launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California at 4 PM Seoul time today. According to reports from Yonhap News and Reuters, the Korea Aerospace Administration (KASA) stated that the next-generation medium satellite No. 2 will separate from the launch vehicle after 5 PM and establish its first communication with a Norwegian ground station 15 minutes later. The satellite is a 500-kilogram class satellite, primarily developed by Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), and is capable of identifying objects on the ground with a resolution of 0.5 meters in black and white and 2 meters in color.
