The Tainan Prosecutors Office today stated that both Wang (currently in custody) and Su were tenants in a building in Xinzhi District, Tainan City, sharing a common bathroom with other tenants. Around 1 AM on January 29th, Wang became upset about the noise Su made while using the bathroom, and the two had an argument.
Wang then used a switchblade knife to stab Su at the bathroom door, causing 16 sharp force injuries to his head and neck, 12 to his left chest, 1 to his right chest, 4 to his left upper limb, 2 to his right upper limb, 2 to his left lower limb, and 1 to the back of his genitals. Su died from multiple incised and stab wounds, which caused laceration of neck blood vessels and a penetrating heart wound, leading to massive hemorrhage with hemopneumothorax, resulting in hypovolemic shock.
