Ministry of Agriculture Partners with FamilyMart to Launch CAS-Certified Rice Balls Nationwide

The Ministry of Agriculture and FamilyMart held a joint press conference, 'CAS Rice Ball Power: Taiwan Support,' announcing that all rice balls and hand rolls sold across 4,461 FamilyMart stores have passed CAS certification. A promotional campaign will run from April 29 to May 12. The CAS mark, introduced in 1989, is Taiwan's most representative certification for agricultural products from production to processing. By partnering with a high-density convenience store network, the Ministry aims to encourage young people and office workers to choose domestic products for a safe and convenient breakfast. The Ministry emphasizes the core concept of 'local production, local consumption' to enhance market trust and add value to domestic agriculture.
