The 'First Abe Seikeijuku' (Abe Shinzo Political and Economic Academy) held its opening ceremony at National Chengchi University's Abe Shinzo Research Center. This program is dedicated to carrying on the legacy of the late Prime Minister Shinzo Abe by educating the next generation of leaders on diplomacy, security, and economics between Taiwan and Japan.

Katayama Kazuyuki, the Representative of the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association (equivalent to an ambassador), attended the ceremony and expressed his hope that the participants would become a vital force in driving future bilateral relations. He emphasized that the bond between the two nations relies on the mutual understanding and passion of emerging leaders. The academy will provide intensive lectures and networking opportunities to build a sustainable bridge across the sea.
