(CNA, London, 23rd, Comprehensive Foreign Dispatch) Following recent rallies, global stock markets generally fell today. Europe's three major stock markets mostly closed lower, primarily because investors' optimism about a quick end to the Middle East war has faded.
London's FTSE 100 index fell 19.45 points, or 0.19%, to close at 10,457.01 points.
Frankfurt's DAX index dropped 39.45 points, or 0.16%, to close at 24,155.45 points.
Paris's CAC 40 index rose 70.89 points, or 0.87%, to close at 8,227.32 points. (Translator: Yang Zhaoyan) 1150424
