SINBON Partners with Weijie Energy to Promote Hydrogen Energy Applications

Central News Agency (Reporter: Tseng Jen-kai, Taipei, 23rd) SINBON, a major connector and cable manufacturer, announced today the signing of a partnership agreement with Weijie Energy. The two parties will combine their technical and industrial expertise to promote the landing of hydrogen energy technologies in diverse application scenarios.

According to SINBON, Weijie Energy is one of the few enterprises in Taiwan that has been dedicated to hydrogen application technology R&D long-term. Their team has accumulated years of technical experience in the hydrogen field, striving to apply hydrogen technology to mobile vehicles and power generation for AI data centers. SINBON possesses robust system integration and manufacturing capabilities. The collaboration merges their technical and industrial strengths to implement hydrogen technology across various scenes.

SINBON stated that under the cooperation framework, they will integrate Weijie Energy's hydrogen power supply systems to jointly expand market opportunities suited for different applications. This encompasses micro EVs, commercial drones, hydrogen mobile microgrids, and site-level power supply systems for AI data centers.

SINBON noted that introducing hydrogen power systems will provide a new energy option for scenarios requiring long-term operation, low noise, and low carbon emissions, thereby bridging the limitations of existing battery technologies in certain applications.

With the shift in the global energy structure, SINBON has continuously sought partners with shared visions in recent years. They hope to build an open and sustainable cooperative ecosystem with more green solution providers, jointly driving the implementation of green energy solutions and progressively establishing a cross-industry green energy ecosystem.
