Precinct Launches Fundraiser for Infant After Mother Officer Passes Following Childbirth

Officer Chen of the Zhongzheng First Precinct passed away on April 20, just days after giving birth to her first child, 'An'an'. Tragically, she never had a chance to see her daughter, as she succumbed to severe postpartum hemorrhage. The baby is currently in the Neonatal ICU receiving treatment for oxygen deprivation. Given the immense medical and care costs ahead, and considering Chen's short tenure meant limited government compensation, the precinct has proactively launched a fundraiser. The goal is to establish a trust fund to support An'an until she reaches adulthood. Donors are encouraged to contribute to the dedicated Bank of Taiwan account to ensure a stable future for the officer's child.
