Three Major Institutional Investors Net Buy Taiwan Stocks by NT$68.762 Billion

(Taipei, April 14, Central News Agency) The Taiwan stock market today rose by 838.83 points, closing at 36296.12 points, with a transaction value of NT$971.731 billion. The three major institutional investors — foreign investors and mainland Chinese investors, investment trusts, and proprietary traders — showed net buying from foreign and mainland Chinese investors, net selling from investment trusts, and net buying from proprietary traders, totaling a net buy of NT$68.762 billion.

Proprietary traders net bought NT$5.52 billion, investment trusts net sold NT$5.666 billion, and foreign and mainland Chinese investors net bought NT$68.908 billion, marking the 5th largest single-day net buy by foreign investors in history. 1150414
