The Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) has announced its latest personnel changes, which have been approved by the Executive Yuan. Wu Zhiwei, currently the Deputy Director of the Energy Administration, will be promoted to Director, while Su Qiyan, the current Deputy Director of the Investment Commission, will be promoted to Director.

The MOEA stated in a press release today that the new Director of the Energy Administration, Wu Zhiwei, is 58 years old, holds a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, and passed the 84th Civil Service High-Level Examination (Second Level) in Environmental Engineering. He has served in various positions, including commissioner, deputy group leader, group leader, and counselor in the former Bureau of Energy (now Energy Administration) and as counselor in the MOEA, possessing complete administrative experience.

The MOEA noted that Wu Zhiwei has a professional background in the energy sector and rich administrative experience. In the future, he will lead the Energy Administration in promoting various energy policies, planning, and management priorities.

Additionally, the new Director of the Investment Commission, Su Qiyan, is 52 years old, holds a Master's degree in Economics from National Taiwan University, and passed the 87th Civil Service High-Level Examination (Second Level) in Economic Development Administration. He has served as a group leader and commissioner in the former Investment Commission (now Investment Commission) and has long been involved in investment review work with complete experience.

The MOEA stated that Su Qiyan is well-versed in investment review-related matters and will utilize his expertise in the future to promote investment-related regulations, business reviews, and overseas investment approvals, thereby strengthening the investment environment and management mechanisms.
