US-Iran War Key News

(Central News Agency, London, 14th) Major European stock indices closed higher today, and international oil prices fell in response, as markets rekindled hopes that an end-of-war agreement could be reached in the Middle East conflict and that the Strait of Hormuz might reopen, ending disruptions to energy supplies.

London's FTSE 100 index rose 26.10 points, or 0.25%, to close at 10,609.06 points.

Frankfurt's DAX index surged 301.78 points, or 1.27%, to close at 24,044.22 points.
