Chongli Precinct announced in a press release that it, in conjunction with the Taoyuan City Police Department's Foreign Affairs Section, planned and executed expanded inspection operations targeting places of entertainment frequented by crowds within its jurisdiction, while simultaneously conducting anti-drug, anti-fraud, and traffic safety promotions.

From March 31 to April 6, a total of 18 foreign nationals were apprehended, including 1 wanted fugitive, 10 overstaying migrant workers, and 7 individuals with expired visas.

Chongli Precinct Chief Lin Ding-tai stated that police enforcement adheres to legal administration principles, and regardless of nationality or status, any act affecting social order or involving illegal behavior will be investigated and prosecuted according to law. He also urged the public to drink rationally and be mindful of their behavior when engaging in gatherings or banquets at any time, to avoid breaking the law due to temporary disorder, and to jointly maintain a safe and friendly living environment.
