Wistron Technology announced today the launch of three new intelligent robots applicable to cleaning, security inspection, and industrial material handling, targeting Taiwan's automation market. Wistron, in collaboration with global service robot brand Pudu Robotics, held a new product launch event today, unveiling three new intelligent robots. Wistron stated that traditional automated equipment requires highly structured environments and significant human assistance, and enabling robots to evolve from 'executing commands' to 'proactive judgment' is a core issue for 'intelligent automation' upgrades across industries. Wistron Vice Chairman Chang Yi-Sheng said that by collaborating with robot manufacturers, Wistron transforms advanced AI robot technology into solutions that businesses can deploy immediately to generate direct benefits. Wistron explained that in 2023, they focused on the intelligent robotics field, centering on smart manufacturing, smart logistics, and smart services, providing one-stop robot solutions. Specifically, the large AI floor scrubbing robot for commercial and industrial cleaning is equipped with a 3D vision perception system, allowing it to accurately identify obstacles and autonomously avoid them in complex dynamic environments like parking lots. It uses a 'sweep-then-wash' integrated structure to complete dry and wet cleaning in one pass. For industrial inspection and security, Wistron stated that the autonomous navigation quadruped robot, with an IP67 industrial-grade protection specification, offers all-weather active early warning capabilities and can traverse complex terrains such as urban roads, wilderness, and stairs. For industrial material handling, Wistron highlighted a 150 kg light-load industrial delivery robot, which, along with existing 300 kg and 600 kg models, forms a load capacity sequence to meet diverse industrial site demands.
