Huang Kuo-wei, Deputy General Manager of Mega International Investment Trust, told CNA in a phone interview that the Taiwan stock market's daily K-line has closed higher for consecutive days. The record high reflects market optimism about US-Iran negotiations; if the two countries reach an agreement, the feared negative factors will disappear. However, since the index rebound has already exceeded the pre-US-Iran war levels, further significant gains would require new positive catalysts. Short-term, a period of consolidation after a strong rally is possible. (Editor: Lin Jia-xian) 1150416
