South Korea Secures Import of 273 Million Barrels of Crude Oil by Year-End via Blockade-Proof Routes

South Korea's Presidential Chief of Staff Kang Hoon-sik announced that the government has secured 273 million barrels of crude oil and up to 2.1 million tons of naphtha by the end of this year. These imports will utilize alternative supply routes unaffected by the Strait of Hormuz blockade, ensuring domestic supply chain stability. This amount of crude oil can guarantee over three months of supply under normal economic operations.
