Sky-Trans: Order status is positive; revenue expected to hit record high this year.

(CNA, Hsinchu, 14th) Sky-Trans CEO Yi Chin-liang stated today that the order situation is positive this year, and annual revenue is expected to reach a historical high.

Yi Chin-liang received the Pan Wen Yuan Foundation ERSO Award today. In an interview, he noted that driven by strong demand for Artificial Intelligence (AI), customers are actively expanding production, which has subsequently boosted demand for equipment.

Yi stated that Sky-Trans is simultaneously expanding into the advanced process and advanced packaging equipment markets. With the current healthy order status, annual revenue is projected to hit a record high.

The Pan Wen Yuan Foundation ERSO Award, now in its 20th year, has honored 65 entrepreneurs for their outstanding contributions to Taiwan's industrial development. This year's recipients include Yi Chin-liang, Ta Ya Electric Wire & Cable Chairman Shen Shang-hung, and PlayNitride Chairman and General Manager Charles Li.

Charles Li said in an interview that the semiconductor industry has seen significant outward expansion recently. As electronic connections shift toward optical connections, Micro LED plays a unique role, allowing its applications to move beyond display panels and Augmented Reality (AR) glasses into optical communications—a field where PlayNitride intends to be a key player.

Regarding overseas expansion, Li stated that in response to rapid global changes, PlayNitride began its layout in the U.S. and other overseas markets two years ago and plans to actively move forward with establishing a factory in the U.S. within the next one to two years.

As for whether the company considers transferring its stock from the Innovation Board to the Main Board, Li said they respect the expectations of the Taiwan Stock Exchange and hope PlayNitride remains a benchmark company on the Innovation Board. On the other hand, acknowledging investors' desire for a move to the Main Board to increase liquidity and trading volume, PlayNitride will seriously evaluate all possibilities.
