(Central News Agency reporter Wu Chia-hao, Taipei 17th) Gaming giant MSI announced today that its new generation of flagship MSI Eco series charging piles, including Eco Life and Eco Premium, have obtained OCPP 1.6 certification from the Open Charge Alliance (OCA), signifying that MSI's products fully comply with international mainstream standards in technical specifications.
MSI issued a press release stating that in the field of electric vehicle infrastructure, OCPP has become the core communication standard for interoperability between global charging equipment and management software, especially in public sector tenders and large-scale energy infrastructure in Europe and the United States, where OCPP certification is often listed as a key indicator for equipment selection.
MSI stated that for global charging operators, adopting equipment that complies with international standards can effectively simplify system integration processes and enhance the flexibility of site configuration, thereby reducing long-term operation and maintenance costs and technical risks.
Yeh Ying-ting, Associate Director of MSI Technology's Charging and Energy Storage Business Unit, said that obtaining OCPP international certification is a key milestone for MSI to deepen its layout in the energy industry. In the process of the electric vehicle market maturing, equipment compatibility and stability are the core considerations for commercial customers. (Editor: Lin Chia-hsien) 1150417
