The film 'Life's a Journey' held a filmmaker's lecture, hosted by producer Chang Wei-chen, featuring actors Wei Chun-chan, Melvin Sia, and Charles Tu. Melvin Sia, a Malaysian actor who has worked in Taiwan for many years, praised Wei Chun-chan's exquisite acting, particularly his precise grasp of the Malaysian Chinese descending intonation, which he found astonishing. Sia noted that he only realized Wei was Taiwanese halfway through the film. Wei Chun-chan admitted to being shocked when he was described as the 'biggest regret for Best Actor' after the Golden Horse Awards nominations were announced, as he had not yet seen the full film himself. Charles Tu, who has participated in filming in Japan and Malaysia, also shared his experiences with accents. The film 'Life's a Journey' is currently screening across Taiwan and will be released in Malaysia on April 16th.
