(CNA Reporter Chung Jung-feng, Taipei, 16th) There is a new development regarding former KYMCO Chairman Allen Ko (Ko Sheng-feng). EV infrastructure provider Noodoe Group Inc. announced today that Allen Ko has been appointed Chairman and CEO of Noodoe, tasked with leading the company's global expansion and scaling its operations.

Regarding questions about the future cooperative relationship between KYMCO and Noodoe, as well as Noodoe's upcoming projects and business goals, Ko responded to reporters that he will provide a public explanation at an appropriate time.

In a press release, Ko stated that Noodoe is at a critical juncture for scalable expansion, and his mission is to build, accelerate, and navigate. He pointed out that he will expand the EV partner ecosystem, deepen the development of Autonomy Systems, provide the operational efficiency and return on investment (ROI) that clients need in the AI era, and propel Noodoe to become the preferred technical partner for global enterprises building autonomous operating systems.

Noodoe explained via the press release that it primarily develops the AI-driven Noodoe EV OS cloud management platform, which can automate complex energy operations for any hardware architecture. This technology is recognized by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and has been market-validated through large-scale commercial deployments. Noodoe integrates charging services, AI intelligence, and scalable operations to promote the comprehensive development of advanced autonomous operating systems.

Noodoe founder John Wang stated that attracting Allen Ko demonstrates Noodoe's strength in developing AI-driven autonomous technologies, expressing hope that Ko will lead Noodoe toward its goals of innovation and growth.

According to records, KYMCO previously collaborated with Noodoe to develop the connected vehicle system "Noodoe," linking a smart dashboard, mobile App, and control buttons near the scooter's handlebars, introducing internet technology and personalized interfaces. KYMCO debuted the Noodoe system at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy, in November 2016.

According to its official website, Noodoe provides AI-driven EV charging and energy management cloud services. The Noodoe platform can be applied to AC charging equipment for homes, communities, commercial buildings, and real estate projects. Noodoe has experience managing over 4,000 charging stations in the cloud globally and provides EV charging services in 15 countries worldwide.

Allen Ko shocked the motorcycle industry when he announced in April 2025 that he would not seek a new term as KYMCO Chairman.

Since June 2014, Ko had represented KYMCO's largest family shareholder as Chairman. During his tenure, he actively rolled out the KYMCO brand's electric scooters and established the Ionex charging and battery-swapping platform, promoting the business model of "integration of charging and swapping, separation of vehicle and battery." He expanded markets in Taiwan, China, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Northern Europe, leading the KYMCO Group to achieve an annual revenue of over 1 billion USD. Now that Ko has moved to Noodoe, a company with close ties to KYMCO, the outside world is paying close attention to his future moves. (Editor: Chang Chun-mao) 1150416
