Breaking it down by city, only Shanghai rose by 3.7%, while Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen declined by 2.1%, 4.7%, and 5.5% respectively.

Overall new home sales prices in Tier-2 cities fell by 3.3% year-on-year, with the decline expanding by 0.2 percentage points compared to February. Overall new home sales prices in Tier-3 cities fell by 4.0% year-on-year, a flat decline. Looking at individual cities, only Hangzhou, Hefei, Urumqi, and Yichang showed positive growth. In the existing home sales price segment, overall prices in Tier-1 cities dropped by 7.4% year-on-year, narrowing the decline by 0.2 percentage points compared to February. Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen all showed downward trends, dropping by 8.3%, 6.2%, 8.1%, and 7.0% respectively.

Overall existing home sales prices in Tier-3 cities fell by 6.4% year-on-year, expanding the decline by 0.1 percentage points compared to February.
