Cheng Li-wun to Visit China; Cho Jung-tai Says No One in Taiwan Will Accept a 'Lying Flat' Model

The Kuomintang (KMT) recently released a video on Facebook, mentioning that true strength does not require loud clamor, but rather giving the people a sense of "worry-free" stability. Watching children sleep peacefully under the stars, or watching youths sweat it out on the ball court—these ordinary yet precious "lying flat" moments are a persistence that cannot be compromised.

Song Tao, head of the Taiwan Work Office of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, stated on March 30 that the CPC Central Committee and General Secretary Xi Jinping welcome and invite Cheng Li-wun to lead a KMT delegation to visit Jiangsu, Shanghai, and Beijing from April 7 to 12.

The Legislative Yuan continued its general policy interpellation today. Fu Zuoyi's "Beiping Model" was also a crucial turning point leading to the nation's final massive defeat—using a surrendering, non-resisting, inactive method of capitulation.
