Fire and rescue services received a report at 4:30 PM that a sheet metal factory on Shoushan Road in Xinzhuang District was fully engulfed in flames. A total of 37 vehicles and 90 personnel were dispatched for rescue efforts, and it was initially confirmed that no one was trapped.

Fire and rescue services stated that the factory was primarily used to store abandoned vehicles, and there was no risk of the fire spreading. The blaze was brought under control in about half an hour, with the burnt area estimated at 200 square meters. The cause of the fire is awaiting investigation. Due to the dense smoke, fire and rescue services urged residents in nearby areas of Xinzhuang District to close their windows and wear masks when going outside.
