Witness the Opening of Danjiang Bridge, New Taipei Metro Launches Light Rail Commemorative One-Day Pass

(Central News Agency reporter Wang Hung-kuo, New Taipei, 14th) With the Danjiang Bridge crossing the mouth of the Tamsui River nearing completion and opening to traffic, the New Taipei Metro Corporation will launch a commemorative "Light Rail One-Day Pass" featuring the Danjiang Bridge on April 16 to celebrate the birth of this international-level landmark.

The New Taipei Metro Corporation issued a press release today pointing out that the commemorative light rail one-day pass specially designed two ticket faces for the Danjiang Bridge. The vertical version is named "Glimmering Dawn," capturing the fresh and bright feeling of the morning sunlight shining on the bridge body and showing the bridge's refined lines.

The horizontal version is "Sunset Afterglow," vividly depicting Tamsui's famous sunset. With the estuary as the background, the romantic scene of the sea and sky blending together and the sparkling waves is perfectly sealed within the ticket face.

The New Taipei Metro Corporation stated that the commemorative light rail one-day pass will be sold simultaneously at the Danhai Light Rail Hongshulin Station and Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf Station starting April 16. The price of each ticket is NT$50. On the day of purchase, passengers can ride the Danhai Light Rail an unlimited number of times, allowing the public to easily head to Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf and witness the majestic posture of the Danjiang Bridge.
