Advantech's March revenue, viewed from a regional perspective, saw double-digit year-on-year growth in North America, Europe, China, Taiwan, South Korea, and emerging markets, growing by 21%, 14%, 40%, 72%, 55%, and 20% respectively; the Japanese market remained flat. By business group, both the Intelligent Systems Business Group and the IoT Automation Business Group showed double-digit growth, with year-on-year increases of 26% and 19% respectively; the Intelligent Services Business Group experienced a slight decline compared to the same period last year; the Embedded Business Group saw an overall year-on-year increase of 18%. Advantech CFO and General Manager Chen Ching-hsi stated in a press release that despite challenges such as Middle Eastern geopolitical risks, raw material cost fluctuations, and supply chain uncertainties, there is strong practical demand for edge AI applications in Advantech's major markets. Coupled with the expectation of price increases stimulating more active customer orders, overall operations have shown strong momentum this year. Chen Ching-hsi pointed out that observing the book-to-bill (BB) ratio, Advantech's overall and three major regional BB ratios continue to grow, with an optimistic operational outlook.
