Yilan Grand Banquet Tickets Sell Out in 82 Minutes After Overnight Queueing; 410 Tables Sold

To celebrate the birthday of Dongyue Rensheng Dadi on the 28th day of the third lunar month, the Yilan City Office will hold the '2026 Yilan Grand Banquet and Music Concert' on May 1st at the Yilan Sports Park Gymnasium. Renowned local restaurants are invited to prepare 10 exquisite dishes, including Lanyang Crispy Pork with Silu Rou and Lobster Cheese Sandwich. Each table is priced at NT$5000, with a NT$1500 subsidy from the City Office, making the public's self-payment NT$3500.
The City Office noted that tickets were available for on-site booking at the Yilan Citizen Activity Center starting at 8 AM today, with a limit of 3 tables per person. This attracted people who queued overnight; the person with ticket number 1 appeared at 7 AM yesterday, and the last person with ticket number 138 arrived at 10:30 PM yesterday to secure the last table. Today, just 82 minutes after the event started, all 410 tables were sold out by 9:22 AM.
The City Office stated that thanks to everyone, this passion and tradition belonging to Yilan can continue to be passed down. This is not just a banquet, but also everyone's roots. Through the 'Yilan Grand Banquet,' what is tasted is not just the beautiful cuisine of Lanyang, but also the continuation of the most sincere human touch and hospitality culture at each table.
In addition to the exquisite cuisine, the concert lineup is also very strong. The City Office has heavily invested in inviting singers An Sinyi and Sun Shu-mei to perform, along with Shen Wen-cheng and Hsu Chih-hao taking turns to sing. Japanese cultural and artistic groups, including Wadaiko Daigen-gumi and Hibikiza, are also invited to perform.
