Cica-Huntek Opens Arizona Facility, Advancing into North American Semiconductor Supply Chain

(CNA reporter Chang Chien-chung, Taipei, July 16) Chemical supply system manufacturer Cica-Huntek announced today that its U.S. subsidiary, Cica-Huntek Chemical Technology USA Corp., has completed and officially launched its facility in Phoenix, Arizona, demonstrating its commitment to deeply penetrate the North American market.

Cica-Huntek released a press statement today stating that to meet the urgent demand from the North American semiconductor market for high-end facility systems, its U.S. subsidiary has invested approximately $8 million to acquire factory and office facilities in Phoenix. The new facility includes warehouse capabilities, with plans to further construct cleanrooms to meet local assembly requirements.

Cica-Huntek pointed out that as customers actively advance multi-phase wafer fabrication plant construction and mass production of advanced processes in Arizona, the launch of the new U.S. facility enables the team to overcome time zone and geographical limitations, providing North American customers with zero-delay engineering construction, equipment installation, commissioning, and technical support.

Cica-Huntek stated that it has already entered sub-2nm advanced processes and successfully supported advanced packaging areas such as CoWoS, and will fully assist customers in building chip production lines in North America to meet the demand for high-end capacity in the AI era.
