East Asia Finance/Lisheng: Plans to set up a joint venture with Broadcom in Singapore to attack panel-level packaging

Taipei, 16th (Central News Agency) Lisheng Technology's board of directors today resolved to establish a joint venture with Broadcom Technologies, Inc. in Singapore to engage in the manufacture of advanced panel-level packaging business, with an investment of $400 million. The funds will come from the company's own funds. Lisheng's move to establish a joint venture with Broadcom and enter the advanced panel-level packaging business is mainly based on the overall international layout of the business and to be closer to the global customer supply chain.
