(CNA, reporter Chang Chien-chung, Hsinchu, July 7) Memory manufacturers Winbond Electronics, Macronix International, and memory module maker InnoGrit Corporation all saw their revenues climb in June. Winbond and Macronix achieved record-high revenues for the month, while InnoGrit posted its highest revenue for the same period in its history.
Winbond Electronics reported self-assessed June revenue of NT$20.597 billion, an increase of 2.98% month-on-month and 189.88% year-on-year. The company stated that the record-high June revenue was primarily influenced by market supply and demand.
Winbond's second-quarter revenue reached NT$59.843 billion, setting a new quarterly historical high, up 56.44% from the previous quarter. Accumulated revenue for the first half of the year was NT$98.096 billion, already surpassing the total revenue of NT$89.406 billion for last year, a year-on-year increase of 139.2%.
Macronix International reported self-assessed June revenue of NT$6.956 billion, an increase of 11.2% month-on-month and 216.09% year-on-year. Macronix pointed out that the record-high June revenue was mainly due to increased market demand.
Macronix's second-quarter revenue was NT$19.125 billion, a new quarterly historical high, up 82.68% from the previous quarter. Accumulated revenue for the first half of the year was NT$29.593 billion, surpassing last year's total revenue of NT$28.88 billion, a year-on-year increase of 128.76%.
InnoGrit Corporation reported self-assessed June revenue of NT$3.018 billion, an increase of 18.09% month-on-month and 35% year-on-year. InnoGrit stated that steady growth in order momentum from the industrial control and system integration markets, coupled with the gradual realization of benefits from optimizing product portfolios and expanding into niche markets, were the main drivers of June revenue growth.
InnoGrit's second-quarter revenue was NT$7.588 billion, a decrease of 16.1% from the previous quarter. Accumulated revenue for the first half of the year was NT$16.633 billion, a 67.74% increase compared to the same period last year.
