(CNA reporter Kao Hua-chien Taipei, July 1) The Civil Service Pension Fund Management Board announced the latest fund performance today. As of the end of May this year, the cumulative actual return reached NT$313.23 billion, with a yield of 24.29%.

The Civil Service Pension Fund Management Board publishes monthly investment performance tables, detailed fund operation tables, and domestic entrusted management performance statistics.

According to the latest data from the Civil Service Pension Fund Management Board, as of the end of May this year, the fund's operations showed a total return of NT$313.23 billion, with an actual yield of 24.29% during the period. Among these, self-managed fixed income generated NT$5.49 billion with a yield of 1.43%, and capital gains contributed NT$131.178 billion with a yield of 44.50%; entrusted management yielded NT$176.564 billion with a return of 28.86% during the period.

Regarding the fund's allocation as of May this year, domestic investments amounted to NT$940.919 billion, accounting for 62.07% of the allocation; overseas investments totaled NT$575.077 billion, representing 37.93%.

Furthermore, as of the end of May, the average yield of Taiwan's 10-year government bonds was 1.49%, the Taiwan Weighted Stock Index rose by 54.45%, the MSCI World Index increased by 12.15%, and the Bloomberg Global Aggregate Bond Index gained 0.50%. (Editor: Chai Szu-chia) 1150701
