The New Taipei District Prosecutors Office has indicted seven individuals, including AestheClinic President Chang Ju-shan, for their roles in a systematic illegal filming scandal. Following a four-hour detention hearing at the New Taipei District Court, the bench ruled that Chang and two associates, Hsieh Chin-heng and Chang Yuan-ling, must be held incommunicado, citing concerns over potential collusion and evidence tampering.

Investigations revealed that the group had installed hidden cameras disguised as smoke detectors in clinic examination rooms at multiple locations between 2019 and December 2025. These devices were used to record private moments of clients, including intimate body parts. Authorities identified at least 99 victims across seven branches, including four minors. The charges include violations of the Criminal Code regarding the non-consensual filming of sexual imagery and the Child and Youth Sexual Exploitation Prevention Act, totaling 164 counts.

Furthermore, prosecutors stated that upon the initial discovery of the cameras, the leadership directed the destruction of evidence across branches in Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, and Taichung. Given the defendants' lack of remorse and active attempts to destroy evidence, prosecutors have recommended severe prison sentences: 14 years for President Chang, 13 years for representative Liu Chen-hua, 12 years for Chang Yuan-ling, and 9 years for Hsieh Chin-heng.
