On the evening of June 23, a 4-year-old boy in Keelung City fell from the third floor of his residence, hitting a second-floor awning before landing on the ground. Medical staff have diagnosed him with a fractured left arm, and he has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

The Keelung City Fire Bureau received an emergency call at 6:17 PM reporting the incident on Liumingchuan Road. A rescue team from the Xin'er Station was dispatched immediately. Upon arrival, the child was conscious and being consoled by his family members. Rescuers noted swelling on the boy's forehead during their initial assessment.

The child was transported to the Keelung Hospital under the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Following an examination, doctors confirmed a fracture in his left arm and arranged for hospitalization.

Relevant municipal agencies, including the Department of Children and Youth Affairs, the Department of Social Affairs, and the Women and Children Protection Squad of the Keelung City Police Bureau, will conduct a home visit tomorrow. The visit aims to assess the child's recovery, investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, and assist the family in enhancing home safety to prevent future occurrences.
