New Taipei City claimed the 2025 Yushan Cup title after defeating Kaohsiung City 7-3, securing the rights to organize the squad for the upcoming Asian U18 Baseball Championship. Pasula Tagisilinian, who tallied two hits and three RBIs in the final, was named the tournament MVP and Best Outfielder.
Pasula admitted to feeling significant pressure leading up to the final, which affected his sleep. He credited his success to maintaining a high level of focus and mental visualization, focusing specifically on fastballs during his at-bats. Having represented Taiwan in last year's U18 World Cup, Pasula expressed his desire to represent the national team again, especially with the Asian U18 Championship being held on home soil.
Looking toward his professional future, Pasula confirmed he will participate in the CPBL draft following graduation. He noted that his plate discipline and strike zone management have significantly improved over his three years in high school. The 2025 Asian U18 Baseball Championship is scheduled to take place in Taipei and New Taipei City from September 7 to 13, with the final stages expected to be hosted at the Taipei Dome.
