(Central News Agency reporter Wu Shu-wei, Taipei, June 20) The Ministry of National Defense announced that from 6 a.m. yesterday to 6 a.m. today, it detected 5 Chinese military aircraft, one of which entered Taiwan's southwestern airspace, as well as 9 Chinese naval vessels and 5 government ships, totaling 19 aircraft and vessels continuously operating around the Taiwan Strait. The ROC military is closely monitoring and responding to the situation.
According to the 'Diagram of PLA Activities in the Airspace Surrounding the Taiwan Strait' released by the Ministry of National Defense today, the ROC military detected 4 Chinese combat aircraft in the Taiwan Strait airspace between 7:50 a.m. and 11:35 a.m. yesterday.
Additionally, between 8:30 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. yesterday, the ROC military detected one Chinese unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the southwestern airspace of Taiwan, east of the median line.
