Hsinchu, June 18 (CNA) Taiwan Mask Corporation (TMC) held its annual general meeting today, conducting a full election for its board of directors. While Jingin Technology secured one board seat, the company's incumbent management team successfully captured three board seats and three independent director seats.
In this election, four directors and three independent directors were to be elected. With candidates jointly put forward by TMC and Guangju Jingdian, and Jingin Technology also fielding candidates for both board and independent director seats, there were a total of six director candidates and five independent director candidates, drawing significant market attention.
Although the election was competitive, an analysis of the list of candidates reveals that Jingin Technology only nominated one director and one independent director candidate, suggesting they were not aiming to seize control of the board.
As a result of the election, TMC Chairman Tu Chun-kuang, General Manager Chen Li-tun, Wu Chao-yi, and Lin Chung-han (representing Jingin) were elected as directors, while Yang Fang-chiang, Peng Ying-hui, and Wang Wei-chen were elected as independent directors.
