The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reported a magnitude 6.2 earthquake off the southern coast of the Philippines today. This comes just one week after a powerful quake struck the same region, killing at least 65 people.

According to AFP, the USGS said the earthquake occurred at 5:18 p.m. local time off the coast of Mindanao Island in the Philippines, with a focal depth of 112 kilometers. (Compiled by: Chen Cheng-chien) 1150615
